Step 1: Inform your Firm's Head Broker (also known as The Participant or Broker in Charge).
Step 2: Identify your situation below:
A. Moving to a Different Brokerage (New Firm):
- Your listings' broker will determine which listings transition to the new firm. Listings that will be moving with you to the new office require release by your broker and subsequent re-entry at a later step in this process..
- NOTE: When Step 5 (below) is processed: Transactions will automatically be re-assigned to someone within the listing broker's office.
- Start the firm transfer process with OREC (potential transfer fees may be incurred).
- Ensure the new Office Broker registers you with OREC under them.
- Submit the Office Transfer Form to Our Membership Department to Initiate the firm transfer process. (Potential transfer fees may be incurred).
- Have your listings' broker Release any listings that will transfer with you or have your broker inform MLS Technology Inc. which listings will need to be released.
- NOTE: an MLS Change Form will be required for the latter for each listing/MLS Number.
- Inform MLS Technology Inc. to remove any existing "Working As" permissions.
- Have your new Firm Broker fill out an MLS Technology Inc. Add/Edit form if you are meant to have Add/Edit permissions within your new office.
- Re-enter any Released listings AFTER your firm transfer displays properly within Matrix.
B. Transferring within your Firm to a new Office:
- Your listings' broker will determine which listings transition to the new office location. Listings making the move require a refresh by MLS Technology Inc. after the transfer process is completed.
- Determine whether your current office keeps your TransactionDesk transactions or if they will move with you.
- Start the office transfer process with OREC.
- Have your broker or an Authorized Admin submit an email to our Membership Department to Initiate the office transfer process.
- Have your broker inform MLS Technology Inc. which listings will transfer with you.
- Inform MLS Technology Inc. to remove any existing "Working As" permissions.
- Have your Firm Broker an MLS Technology Inc. Add/Edit form to ensure you have the proper Add/Edit permissions within your new office.
- Notify MLS Technology Inc. about Transactions needing assistance to be transferred back to you. This does require your listings' Broker input or participation.
C. Going Inactive:
- Start the Inactive process with OREC (possible fees).
- Submit the Associate Release Form to Our Membership Department to begin the Inactive process.
- If leasing a Keybox, you will need to either:

Return Keybox to Our Membership Team within 10 Days.
NOTE: If not returned, the member’s account will be billed for remainder amount - Transfer it to another agent and complete the Keybox Transfer Form.
NOTE: The Lease terms will reset, and payments will start over.

- Inform MLS Technology Inc. to remove any existing "Working As" permissions.
- Have your broker decide which listings get released and which stay and get reassigned to another office associate.
D. Entering Referral Mode:
- Initiate the referral mode process with OREC (possible fees).
- Submit the Associate Release Form to GTAR Membership Department to start the referral mode process.
- Inform MLS Technology Inc. to remove any existing "Working As" permissions.
