What's the difference between OAR and OREC?

OREC is the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission. OREC is the licensing authority for the State of Oklahoma. They issue all real estate licenses and govern all real estate licensees.  OREC sets the continuing education requirements to maintain your real estate license.

OAR is the Oklahoma Association of REALTORS®, which is part of NAR, the National Association of REALTORS®,. They have a board of directors, and represent Associations in Oklahoma.
