Overview
Listing Manager is the new listing input system, replacing the Add/Edit tool you've been using in Matrix.
If you've been entering listings with us for a while, you know Add/Edit hasn't changed much, as it's been the same experience for over a decade. Listing Manager is a complete overhaul of that process.
The updated interface is fully responsive, meaning it works cleanly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. The UI has been modernized throughout, and the platform is built to support new features and improvements going forward.
Beyond the visual updates, we've also rethought how the input form itself is organized. Fields have been rearranged into a more logical flow, and several field names have been updated to be clearer and more user-friendly. If something looks different from what you're used to, it's likely been moved to a more intuitive spot or given a more accurate label.
What's New: Changes & Additional Features
Listing Manager brings a number of meaningful updates, from how the input form is laid out to entirely new tools designed to save you time.
Reorganized Input Layout & Updated Field Names
The listing input form has been redesigned with a more logical flow. Fields have been regrouped so that related information is easier to find, and several field names have been updated to be more accurate and user-friendly. If you're looking for something that seems to have moved, check the section it logically belongs to as most changes will feel intuitive once you're in the system.
Photography Portal
A new photography portal allows someone outside the MLS, such as a photographer, to upload photos directly to a listing without needing an MLS login. Here's how it works:
- From the listing input, the agent clicks the Photographer Access button and sends an invitation by entering the photographer's email address.
- The photographer receives an email with a link, confirms their identity, and uploads photos directly to the listing.
- The agent reviews the submitted photos and approves them before they go live on the listing.
This keeps the agent in control while removing the hassle of coordinating photo transfers.
AI-Powered Features
Listing Manager introduces multiple AI tools built directly into the listing input process:
- Public Remarks Generation — The biggest addition. AI drafts the public remarks for your listing based on the property data entered, giving you a strong starting point that you can review and edit before publishing. You can pick from 3 different remark generation modes: Standard, Playful, or Professional.
- Photo Caption Generation — AI automatically generates captions for your listing photos, saving time on a task that often gets skipped.
- Auto-Tagging from Photos — AI analyzes your listing photos and automatically identifies property features — things like a pool, hardwood floors, or a fireplace — and tags the corresponding fields in the listing input. This helps ensure your data is complete and accurate without manual cross-checking.
Residential Lease Overhaul
Our Residential Lease input form is getting a major update!
Following the launch of Listing Manager, the Residential Lease listing input experience will receive a comprehensive update one week later. This overhaul aligns Residential Lease with our modernized listing platform.
All of the following changes are to improve data accuracy, streamline listing entry, and better support today's leasing market:
- Adding multiple new fields
- Removing unnecessary fields
- Updating field options
These enhancements are designed to provide a more intuitive listing experience while ensuring higher-quality listing data across the MLS. Members entering Residential Lease listings after this update should review the revised field layout and available options before creating or editing listings.
To help ease the transition, the Residential Lease input form in Listing Manager will use the updated layout when Listing Manager goes live, while the field additions, removals, and option changes will take effect one week later.

Dedicated Statistical Listing Entry for Residential Sale
Following the Residential Lease overhaul, a new Residential Sale Statistical Purpose Listing will be introduced as a separate listing entry type.
This addition is designed to provide a dedicated structure for capturing residential sales statistics in a consistent and standardized format. By separating statistical entries from traditional listing workflows, this enhancement improves data clarity, supports more accurate market reporting, and ensures that sales-related metrics are maintained with greater consistency across the MLS. These statistical entries will ensure MLS rules for statistical listing are correctly followed and now allow for proper entry to use our "NonMLS" user as the listing agent when the entry is from the buying side as these entries will go directly from incomplete to closed.
Residential Sale, Commercial, and Vacant Land Statistical Entries will still need to use the existing method for submission and we will review adding these other options in at a later date.
